A Side Stop on our Journey
Before we go on to the Skull Woods to look for the third crystal, there is one side-trip we should make. In the graveyard is the magic cape, which thanks to the Dark World and the Magic Mirror, we can get now. In theory, we shouldn't be able to get this item until we obtain the Titan's Mitt and are able to move around the dark green stones which block our way in the graveyard, but the magic mirror allows us some le-way. Using the hookshot, we get to the Graveyard's equivalent in the Dark World (which looks like a rock garden) and maneuver our way to the giant grave in the northeast corner (this reminds me of King's Tomb in Zelda II, but I digress...there is synergy all around the Zelda series) and then come back to the Light World, able to enter this tomb's depths. Inside, we find the magic cape. This item allows us to remain invisible and invincible while we use it (although it is a magic meter hog). This will prove so useful later on, and right now, it will prove extremely useful in getting several pieces of heart. After we've gotten all of these, it's time to return to the Dark World and enter the Skull Woods, the Dark World's answer to the Lost Woods (oooo scary).
