The Final Battle!

Entering the Pyramid of Power
After you defeat Agahnim, Ganon arises from his ashes, proclaiming he was simply controlling the wizard for his own purpose.  We all knew that already, thanks.  He then transforms into a bat and takes off for the pyramid of power.  One of the cool things about this is that the battle with Ganon to end the game is not connected with the final dungeon; you can now go and refuel your potions for this final battle and your magic power, and Ganon will wait for you--there is no consequence for making the demon king wait.

Ganon, King of the Dark Realm
After descending into the Pyramid of Power, which we all knew had to have some significance since we first came here, we meet Ganon face to face, who talks a bunch of nonsense about how he is going to end us and make his dream to rule both Light and Dark World true.  You face Ganon in multiple stages, all of them involving the primary use of three weapons: the Golden Sword against Ganon himself, the Fire Rod on the torches in the room and the Silver Arrows against Ganon after a certain point.  See, the fight is simple...if you're fast and quick on your feet, and remember what Ganon is going to be doing next (he likes to attack with his trident, then fire, and then he likes to darken things up).  Either way, after he is defeated, the way forward opens...

The Triforce Welcomes a New Master
...before you is the Triforce, in all its glory and its true form.  The three parts come together, and welcome you, Link, as its new master.  Since Ganon is dead, the Triforce can welcome a new master (as it can only welcome a new master once its former master has met its end).  It also welcomes you to touch it with a wish from within your heart, and then you see a bunch of cutscenes showing Hyrule and the Golden Realm, restored to a peaceful state.  Congratulations!

The Master Sword Sleeps..FOREVER!
