The Second Quest in Review

Another adventure is behind us, and Hyrule is safe from harm--for now.

The second quest adds a new dimension that had been explored by the video game industry in the past: offering a game within the game of the same kind, same nature, same plot but with a slight increase in difficulty.  This adds to the value of the title as now there are two games one must defeat in order to actually truly defeat the game; and lay claim to the "hero of Hyrule" title.  All for one low price, right?  You only bought one game, but you have two adventures which means you will spend twice as long playing it!  And that's really what gaming is about...how much time will you get enjoying this game?  Beyond that, Zelda I has great replay value despite its lack of a followed core plot and offers a great pasttime for those who need a quick game to pick-up once or twice a week in their busy lives (there are many titles that require constant attention).

When you finish the second quest, you are told that you are great and shown how many times you were slain during the first and second quest together.  All in all, I don't think I did all that badly.  For those of you paying attention, I name all of my Links "Brand" for tradition...and simply because it seems to bring them good luck.  : )

Brand has finished The Legend of Zelda
Whew, this adventure is over, and what an adventure it was!  Glad to have peace return to Hyrule.
